BIC

The BIC strives to showcase the very latest in British design, innovation, research, development, engineering and invention.  It welcomes established companies and individuals and, very importantly, encourages participation from new, undiscovered inspirational companies and individuals.

Over a three day period, The BIC boasts hundreds of exhibitors keen to showcase and demonstrate their latest products and services, and at the same time presents opportunity for investors to meet with and invest in new ideas, products and services.

The BIC brings together a gathering of investors, venture capitalists, accelerator growth companies, established designers, inventors, engineers, innovators, educational establishments, academics, students, undiscovered designers, inventors, engineers, innovators… all under the one roof.

So how can you get involved?

The BIC is a perfect way to deliver substantial benefits for investors and is calling on all types of investors to consider being a part of this wonderful, unique, event.

Over and throughout the three day event, there will be much activity going on in the Dragons’ Den area of the event.

Here, a panel of four investors willing to invest their own time, experience, skills (in the form of mentorship, work experience and/or cash) will sit and consider the pitches of budding or established engineers, inventors, designers, etc., all of whom are hungry for investment.

Every hour (in some cases every hour and a half) the Dragons’ Den will change its panel of four ‘Dragons’. There will be pitches running throughout the day – each and every day – across The BIC event and all pitches will run for a maximum of 15 minutes each and they will be filmed.

Dragons’ Den will be a great opportunity to marry investors – of varying industry and sector interests – with budding or established British innovators, designers, engineers and inventors hungry for investment.

Investors will have unique opportunities to meet with potential investments via:

  • established companies or organisations
  • established individuals
  • new or undiscovered companies or organisations
  • new or undiscovered individuals
  • British university and post graduate students
